Staying Engaged Series

 

Please join the Savannah State University Office of Alumni Relations for our Staying Engaged Series which includes Marvelous Monday’s Speaker Series and Third Thursdays Alumni Pop-ups!  See attached flyer.

 

Marvelous Mondays are scheduled on one Monday of each month at 12:30p for 30 minutes to learn and be inspired during this season of uncertainty. Marvelous Mondays begin on Monday, August 16, with Ms. Somayah McKinney ’12  who will speak on “Hiring Readiness.” This session is designed to assist students and alumni with enhancing their interviewing skills. The second session is scheduled on Monday, September 13, with Mr. Elgin Dixon ’88 who will speak on “Staying Engaged During Critical Times.” This session seeks to encourage you through these very difficult times of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and all of the many life stressors we deal with daily.

 

Sessions are virtual and only 30 minutes in duration.

Third Thursday Alumni Pop Ups @ 5:30p

Join your fellow Tigers on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30p-7:30p to unwind, network and enjoy each other’s company.  We will be dining outdoors at various restaurants around town and all drinks and food are on your own.  This past year has been extremely difficult on all of us and we can all use a little adult time!
